Lt. Fred Korczak

Fred was born in 1949. He joined the Danish Home Guard in 1967. In 1969 he served for 15 months in the Telegrafkomp of the Danish Regular Army. In 1986 he applied to join the LRRP. Of the 26 that started his course only Frede and three others passed . He is a regimental Small Arms Weapons and Tactics Instructor.

He first jumped with Pathfinder at Texel in 1996 but was unable to complete the course due to bad weather. He returned in 1997 and completed his final jumps to be awarded the Dutch "B" Wing. Since then he has attended and passed the Polish, Danish, USA, France, Philippines basic military parachute courses and has been presented with his EMPA and Pathfinder wings. He holds a Parachute Packing licence and is a member of the Pathfinders WW2 Parachute Display Team.
