Under Command  of the Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment.

With a last jump from an Casa C-212 Aviocar exiting at 1200 feet of height Capita¡n Manuel Ãovalos Prado finished his course of Basic Military Parachuting. He was in his third year as an officer Cadet at the Aviation school of Chile. The training had taken place at the Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment Air Base of Quintero.

The Cadets, the majority being about 21 years of age carry out an intense instruction cycle during the first month at the school to arrive at this point of their training. During this time they are taught theoretical and practical instruction on all aspects of the parachuting they are about to undertake.
When finished they will each recieve the brevet and Black Beret that identifies them as Military Paratroopers.
