Colonel SASSI, one of the last Jedburghs, Free French SAS, member of the mighty "Force 136" made the big drop on the final DZ on 9 January 2009.

After WWII, he became one of the founder of the top-secret "11 CHOC" (secretive equivalent of the british SAS). and fought the keeni-meeni unknown counter-revolutionary wars in AIndo-China and Algeria.

A very discreet but strong Pathfinder supporter, In 2005 he agreed to become "Parrain" (godfather), or honorary chairman, of our commemorative WWII SF Para drops in the French Alps.
