An Italian soldier of the International Security Assistance Force is pictured flying a kite with some Afghan children during Operation OQAB. A 35 vehicle convoy from the Provisional Reconstruction Team (PRT) at Herat, Afghanistan, left it's base in order to carry out Civil Military Co-operation operations (CIMIC) and Psychological Operations (PSYOPS) in the remote areas of the Farsi district. It took two full days, over some dangerous terrain, to reach some of the furthermost parts. The convoy consisted of the Quick Reaction Force (QRF), the Herat PRT/CIMIC, PSYOPS and members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team
